Chuck Avery
Chuck Avery is a newspaper columnist, essayist, playwright, radio commntator, actor and raconteur. In a profile of the writer, Arts Indiana magazine commented, "Avery's columns have drawn particular praise, hearkening as they do a more refined, articulate, essay approach utilizing logic rather than one-liners."
When the state of Indiana named Avery a Sagamore of the Wabash, Indianapolis Star columnist Dan Carpenter described him as a man who, ". . . sees far and deep from his outpost in Eastern Indiana, and the longer he keeps looking, the more of us will find him.”
